How do I bid?

Sign In or Sign Up: If you haven't already, you'll need to create an account on StorageHunt. If you're an existing user, simply log in to your account.

Search For Auctions: Browse through our listings to find a storage unit you're interested in bidding on. You can use search filters and categories to narrow down your options.

Review Auction Details: Click on the auction to view its detailed description, images, and any other relevant information. Make sure you understand the item's condition, specifications, and terms of the auction.

Place Your Bid: Once you've decided to bid on an auction, you'll see a "Place Bid" button. Slide the button to the right of the screen to submit your bid. Additionally you can set a max bid by entering the amount you're willing to bid for the unit. Keep in mind that bids are required to be higher than the current highest bid.

Confirm Your Bid: Before submitting your bid, review the amount you've entered to ensure it's accurate. Some auctions might have automatic bidding increments, so make sure your bid aligns with these increments.

Verify Your Bid: In some cases, you might be prompted to verify your bid, especially if it's your first bid on the platform. This is to ensure the authenticity of users and prevent spam bids.

Place Your Bid: Once you're confident with your bid, click the "Place Bid" or "Confirm Bid" button to officially submit your bid. You might be asked to confirm your action.

Monitor the Auction: After placing your bid, you can monitor the auction's progress. If someone else places a higher bid, you'll be notified via email or on the platform, and you'll have the option to bid again if you choose.

Winning the Auction: If you have the highest bid when the auction ends, congratulations! You'll be notified about winning the item. Follow the instructions provided to complete the payment and finalize the transaction.
