Why did you add time to the timer?

We've implemented a feature known as a soft close in all of our auctions, guaranteeing a level playing field for all bidders and preventing last-second sniping. Our goal is to provide every participant with an equitable opportunity to bid.

During the concluding ten minutes of an auction, if a bid is placed, the countdown timer for that auction is extended by an additional minute. This approach ensures that all interested bidders have a reasonable chance to react and place their bids without the urgency of a rapid-fire finish.

By introducing this mechanism, we strive to promote transparency and fairness throughout our auction process. Your experience and participation are important to us, and we want to ensure that every bid is made with thoughtful consideration and ample time for response.
